Your Committee has appointed Bryn Campbell, a member of P.A.C., to undertake an independent review of pricing principles and current fees charged for services and products offered by the Club. He will complete an initial review and report the results and recommendations back to the Committee for their consideration. As part of the process, we invite you to provide your views for inclusion in the review.
Background
P.A.C. offers a range of services and products and for each a price is charged to members and non-members to generate sufficient revenue to operate the Club. A modest surplus is planned each year that protects the Club against future adverse financial results and builds a small reserve to improve our facilities.
For most of our members, services and products include annual membership, aircraft hire, instructor training, licence renewals, merchandise and bar sales. For members who own their own aircraft located on or adjacent to the field, additional fees are charged for airfield maintenance, commercial access, fuel and hangar accommodation.
Our fees, for the most part, are based on costs plus a small margin to generate the surplus mentioned. Our key pricing principle is that users only pay for the services they use.
